So the Shangri-Las are certainly not top 20 any more, but this is a very good collection & contains most of their popular hits. Some songs are missing, but the amazingly brilliant combination of emotionally strong vocals (though not necessarily technically strong) mixed with great production is a perfect start to one of the best girl groups of the early '60s.

The only thing it could have done better would have been to really attempt to build a complete best of. Since their albums are hard to find, you have to buy some songs in one place & then duplicate them in another so that you pick up 1 or 2 new ones.
