After two careers, one of 25 years in the Navy, and one as an attorney, I decided it was time to write some books. So far I have published four novels; three children's chapter books; two children picture books; a reference book on Chinese daggers; and three reference books on Chinese swords. One of my children's books, "The Legend of the Lost Tiki," won an Military Writer's Society of America award, and another, "Oliver, The Frog That Couldn't Croak" won an award from the American Author's Association.
At any given time I am at work on three or four books at the same time. I have seven grandchildren, and they are the best critics for my children's books.
