Lelisia Hall has produced an interesting, thoughtful romance that elevates the genre to a new level. In this novel, ideas rest at the center of a relationship that develops between a teacher and his student. The novel offers rich depiction of philosophy, spirituality, music, mysticism, cultural insights, and relational development/challenges set in a university town, a perfect context for the narrative's action. The work is a commentary on the role of the mind, soul, and spirit in affairs of the heart. This book should be made into a motion picture!
