I thought the author told the story of CPO Chris Kyle with great respect, and honor. Not a long biography, but a short, more intimate look into the life of Chris Kyle. Loved the stories. This book shows what kind of a man Chris Kyle was away from the military. I wish I could have met him just once.

This book was amazing. Hearing all the different stories about Chris was awesome. I wish I had the opportunity to know him personally. I still can't believe that he was taken from this world so soon. Reading about the funeral made me feel like I was there as everyone said goodbye to a truly amazing man and hero.

An interesting biography about the most famous seal sniper in navy history. Short and informational, this tells of the personality and post service life of an exceptional man. Excellent read.

Insight into a true American Hero, so sad that his life was cut short! With all the problems we face in our Country it is easy to become demoralized -- reading about Chris Kyle gives one inspiration that there are those still out there willing to make the ultimate sacrifice that we might enjoy our Liberty. Thank you Chris Kyle!

We need to look closely at who we call heroes. Celebrities who live lives of comfort and self absorption are not heroes.. Chris Kyle embodied the best of us.

Chris Kyle is a great man! He always will be. This book is a great introduction into what kind of man he really was. Not a super hero, or invincible, but a honest, warm blooded American hero. And this book shows you that given the right values and and led by God, Chris Kyle will be known for a long time to come. RIP Brother!

I had just finished watching a t.v. interview with Marcus Luttrell since a movie version of his story is coming out to theaters soon. This made me think of this book that my husband had just bought on Kindle.

We had purchased both books by Marcus Luttrell and both books about Chris Kyle. When my husband purchased, " The Life and the Legend of Chris Kyle," I didn't realize that it was his story leading up to his tragic death. I thought I'll get a around to reading it after I finish the three other books I'm reading. But then, I thought maybe I'll just check it out before I go to bed. You know, just read a chapter or two.

Well, that never happened! I ended up staying up to read the whole book in one sitting. I couldn't put it down. The author, Michael Mooney, did such a great job to honor Chris by his style of writing.

I just had to know more. Why did Chris want to become Navy SEAL? How did he meet his wife? What kind of person was the Chris Kyle? I got the answers to those questions and so much more. I loved how the author wrote about Chris' patriotic, fun-loving, and loyal side of his personality.

I don't think you will be disappointed to learn more about this incredibly heroic and courageous military veteran. His life story is a testimony about someone who loves country so much that he was even willing to risk his life after he was out of harm's way. Chris Kyle continued to give back to his country by trying to help a veteran in need. He and his friend were willing to help even though it would cost them their lives. There is no greater love than when a man sacrifices his life for a friend.

Please avoid lining this guys pockets. All accounts are pulled from magazine articles. It's a vagrant attempt to make money on the death of a true American hero.
