This song is the opening theme for Season 1 of Gunslinger Girl (anime), and goes perfectly with it. The song is slow on the beat, but powerful - like a neck-breaking punch to the head in slow-motion. There's not very many songs that have both these qualities. Every time I hear it, it's hard to hear anything else. I find myself listening to it multiple times, apparently obsessing over it. Even though it's over 5 minutes, I just can't get enough of it. Love this song.
