Format:Paperback
I read a little in the evenings to relax and found myself making sure I had time to discover Alice's next adventure and what she would learn from it. At 13, Alice is at the age when young teens begin to question what Mom and Dad do and chart a course for themselves. While the heroine made her own choices, I liked the way she and her father used her experiences to both give emotional space to grow and then to draw closer to each other. It is a delightful book for family time sharing and discussion. I'm looking forward to sharing The Lion Princess with my grandchildren and exploring some of the deeper lessons with them.
