Most Helpful Customer Reviews

Format: Paperback
A brilliantly wacky view on the "menage a trois."
Shipwrecked in evening dress on a desert isle are
husband-wife-her lover. How do they manage? The Roussin
comedy, adapted by Nancy Mitford, ran for 3 years in London.
It's worldly, sexy, hilarious. Arriving on Bwy in the
boring 50s, it shocked critics and vanished after 3 weeks.
A dissenter - Eric Bentley - calls it "a very funny play
in any language." As Mitford herself might say, "Do admit--."
A top-notch comedy of manners.
