A fantastic read. Full of charm and honesty, it has details on so many things that I've never before heard explained so clearly or concisely. From drugs to sex to cooperation with teachers to create better learning environments and practical advice on activism, this tiny book is packed full of everything a teenager is just dying to know. The section on sex education not only teaches about the various forms of contraceptives and their uses and drawbacks, but also an entire section on how to do sex right: finding erogenous zones, differing preferences among different people, the importance of communication and honesty through the whole event, and how to find sexual satisfaction without risking pregnancy. The section on drugs talks not only about the risks inherent in each drug, but their social implications, and the sensations that each drug provides. It takes the mystery out of them, as well as the allure that mystery provides. All of this information is so intermixed, that it is impossible to read the parts about the experience of a drug without also learning the ways to (when possible) use it safely and become educated on the incredible dangers and destruction that those drugs can incur.
I bought this book thinking that it would have advice and neutrality on topics my children might not believe me about, but honestly, even as an adult far out of school, the practical advice and confidence building agency this book encourages made it a joy to read for myself as well. It takes topics that are normally skirted or covered fearfully, and makes them interesting and engaging, while still providing solid advice not only for your own benefit, but for those around you.

This is an amazing book for the philosophies about groups and people.

It's a total shame this book was banned in the US. I am over 30 and wish I had this book growing up. My life would have been much easier with this knowledge.

I wish my parents told me about these things before I went to school. This is essential education for children in order to become economy and world creators and not just slaves and users.

This book sort of tells you the difference from being told what to do and not, it also teaches you stuff that you would be curious it's a pretty good book if I might add.

Excellent book from so many different angles. Historically, culturally, as well as the advice and consequences spelled out with minimized judgement or wing perspective.
