We ordered this for our 9-month old, who is starting to push himself up. He loves to push this truck back and forth as he stands (with our help), although he doesn't yet have the concept of putting one foot in front of the other. He can push himself up without it toppling, unless he grabs the handle from the side.

Blocks: The blocks are classic wooden ones with contemporary painted designs on one side of the majority of them. They are plain wood on the other side.

Assembly/Parts: It was a tad difficult getting the last hole on one side of the handle to line up with the hole on the base. It required two people and a lot of tugging, but I suppose it's extra secure now that we got it together. The nuts that go on the end of the screws around the handle connection sometimes tend to loosen. Perhaps with the proper wrench we would no longer have this issue.

Wheels: The wooden wheels are covered in a cute green rubber strip, making it non-slip - perfect for playing on our hardwood floors.

In all, we are happy with this little push cart and are always glad to find sturdy and safe alternatives to big plastic toys.

I bought this for my 9th month old daughter who is already taking some steps on her own. She likes it a lot. The blocks captivate her and the wagon is durable and balanced so when she pulls up on the handle picking herself from a seated position the standing the wagon stays still.

The one draw back is that it doesn't turn easily.

We have wood floors - and the gripper wheels make this wagon better then others tried - It doesn't slip, but easily glides on wood and carpets.

This toddle truck/push wagon was a great find at my local children's store in August 2008. I bought it with a coupon for 20% off, so I paid even less than the Amazon price. My husband easily assembled the wagon for our son's first birthday, and we loaded it up with the included blocks. Our son immediately grabbed the bar and took off walking behind the push wagon - and no, he was not already walking independently, only cruising.

The wagon is very sturdy and stable as he pushes, and never slips on the hard-wood floor (thanks to the knobby, rubbery wheels). I also appreciate that the blocks all have at least one straight edge, so they don't roll around much. This push wagon really seems to have a good balance to it - never tipping backwards. Our son has not appeared to kick the back of the wagon either, while walking. The Plan Toys push wagon looks very good as well, and is now carried at my local store!
