I had heard a short radio interview of Dr. Gibson, so I was slightly prepared for his book, yet I was hardly prepared for the protagonist Djehuti, a mysterious being of light. At one level the story is about Dr. Gibson's first cautious encounter with Djehuti that blossoms as Djehuti becomes his teacher. The subject? The nature of the human soul.
Breathtaking stuff, this. After Djehuti explains to Dr. Mitchell the true nature of Quasars, I was reminded of an exchange in one of C. S. Lewis's Narnia series. In this book -- sorry, I can't remenber which, the young hero meets and talks with a star. (The astronomical kind.) Our young hero thought stars were made of hot gas and were millions of miles away. Aslan, the Christ figure, told him that "That's what stars are made of, not what they are."
So, the concepts weren't totally foreign to me, yet in toto Dr. Gibson's new reality is nearly orthogonal to mine. Ultimately this is why I gave the book four stars and not five. There simply is no way to verify this collection of astounding assertions. But, keep an open mind and you will find it enthralling.

Whoever is selling this for $95.. I don't really understand your intentions. The book has been renamed to Your Immortal Body Of Light and sells for about $11 on Amazon.

This is quite an interesting take on the soul. Dr. Gibson claims that
Dehuti (a discarnate entity) came to take him on a tour of other
realms after many years of meditating. He showed him various
things that seem pretty incredible, including a detailed analysis
of the soul: having I think 614 facets, each facet having an
Actus, Nomen, and other aspects.

One of his disciples, Kelly M Larsen, wrote a good and detailed
book titled "Keys to unlocking your inner power" so there he
(and his wife) have at least somewhat of a following. I don't
know if what he says is true but it makes for interesting reading.

Difficult to put in words. Great book. Amazing experiences. Written in a simple vocabulary and easy to understand. however the concepts present in the narrative can elude many. One must be open to new levels of realities to fully grasp the beauty of those concepts. We must trust that even when many of us can not see it or live it in a conscious state, the scope of the human experience is much larger and beautiful than what we see in our daily lives.
