I purchased this book for my mother who enjoys reading westerns. She could not find this book in any of the local bookstores where she lives. I checked on Amazon and was able to buy it for her. In her words it was fantastic and worth the wait.

Fiction book with a good story line. J. A. Johnstone is an excellent writer and he does his research very well.

I liked this book very much and I am happy to see a son following in his father's footsteps in creating a great western story.

Ja Johnstone is getting better as a western writer. Looking forward to reading more about Kid Morgan and where the roads will take him.

Some good parts, others were like running in mud. You just couldn't keep the momentum up for all the rhetoric. It doesn't turn me against this author, but this was not one of his better works.

The original William W. Johnstone books were much better. The Mountainman, and Last Mpuntainman series were the best. These are good but not at all like original series.
