This is a quick, easy read that I am sure runners and non-runners of all ages will love.
Michael DENNISUK
This book is about possibly one of the worst life lessons you can get...the loss of a friend.
L. S. Schaefer
Amazing and Uplifting story, but ge should have read his story a few times to perfect it.

Mr. Krinsky has created a wonderful new book for Teen readers. It recounts the experiences of the "Atlantic" cross country team during one eventful summer and fall. The book is well written (a few minor editorial problems) and the story has a moral and a message. The teens in the book are very familiar to those of us that spend a fair amount of time with young people. Like "Once A Runner", Mr. Krinsky gets the running stuff right. And to a runner (and coach) this is VERY important. This is a quick, easy read that I am sure runners and non-runners of all ages will love. Well done!

I enjoy fictional/non-fictional running stories (Once a Runner, Running with the Buffaloes, and probably a dozen more), but unfortunately, this one was quite disappointing. I never felt anything for any of the characters. One of the things I enjoy about running books is that they put me out there, running the workout or competing in the race. This did none of that. The descriptions were rather flat and repetitive.

For competitive runners, it's all here: striding, striving, struggles, competition, strategy, heartache, and redemption.

Amid grueling training and high hopes for a winning season, along with the untimely death of a fellow runner, "The Longest Fall" explores the full spectrum of the personal and sometimes lonely reality which is running.

A satisfying and well-written work!

Amazing and Uplifting story, but ge should have read his story a few times to perfect it. The story does get a bit choppy at some points. Being a cross country/distance runner. I found really motivating and inspiration.
