I was very pleased with my purchase. The pop-up book has fewer pages than the regualar book, but the text is all there. The story has been compressed down to allow this version to have pop-up illustrations. The pop-up are very intricate and exciting. It is a very unique book and a great addition to anyone's Dr. Seuss Collection.

Oh what fun to see Dr. Seuss' weird and wonderful drawings actually pop off the page! Thankfully, this is not a movie version, but the original Lorax story. You've really got to open the book wide and flat to get the pop-ups completely upright so you can see all of the details. Luckily, it stands up to lots of reading and tugging. Only the spread with the biggered Thneeds factory requires a little finesse to refold.

My 7-year-old son likes this story and he was absolutely delighted with the pop-up book. My middle school-age children were also interested in taking a fresh look at a story they had not read in quite some time. As for me, I never cared much for "The Lorax" myself, but I enjoyed reading this, too. If they put "The Cat in The Hat" in a pop-up book, I'll never read a flat Seuss story again!

A great new way to read the classic story, this book literally adds a new dimension to "The Lorax," and it comes out a winner.

This is a great pop-up book for the original Lorax story. The pop-ups are very detailed and many are interactive. They definitely help the story come alive for children and I must admit I love them too. I would not allow a small child to read/look at the book by themselves as a couple of the pop-up are a bit tricky for little ones to fold or close. This is a wonderful addition to any Seuss fan. I intend on reading this book to my school children on Earth Day. They will love the pop-ups while learning and discussing an important issue.
