Everything I've tried so far has taken me to a culinary nirvana. I tried the popcorn, prepared the cauliflower steaks and the Hearts of Palm Lobster Roll. Perfection.

There are a lot of careless typos in this book that kind of bug me. So far the recipes I have made are delicious though.

You guys! I haven't been this excited about a vegan lifestyle book since The Vegan Girl's Guide to Life! Seriously, The Lusty Vegan is amazing! Both hilarious & inspiring, The Lusty Vegan is an important book for both vegans & omnivores alike--relationships are hard enough already, add in our differing values & I'll take any help I can get! Truly, The Lusty Vegan is the most valuable source out there for navigating the vegan-omni love life; I highly recommend.

Haven't tried any of the recipes, but I've bookmarked a lot of them & they all seem both swoon-worthy & accessible.

As a mere quasi-vegan I am in love with The Lusty Vegan! The recipes are super flavorful and intricate while many of them can be prepared in very little time. In other words: perfection. Not to mention the funny and insightful stories!! I'm in love!

These recipes will appeal to anyone! Most of them can be made with what I usually stock in my kitchen. Everything I have tried is delicious. I'm so found of it, I'm now buying another one to gift to a friend.

As with food, we eat with our eyes first. If a dish looks aesthetically unpleasant, our mind and body revolts at the urge to eat it. The same thing happened with this book. I was excited to dive into this book but as soon as I opened it, the aesthetics of the book were so laughably constructed and the content of the book was so poorly written, that my mind immediately shut down and I just didn't want to continue any further into the book. I'm sure the recipes were good but I'd rather go find vegan recipes online than look at this book again.

This book is funny and insightful and has great advice for all sorts of vegan/non-vegan couples. And in addition to the great advice, the recipes all look amazing and have clear, easy-to-follow instructions.
