The concept of this book is great. We started with the M&M counting book which was too easy, but this one (addition book) gets more advanced pretty quickly. We'll try it again when my daughter is 6.

This is a book of math represented by M&M's. There is no story involved. The best math books for children involve a story to teach about the math, and this book does not do that. I stopped reading it halfway through since my students were bored, and my students didn't ask me to finish it later. That is the hallmark of a poor book. I wouldn't recommend this series, it strikes me as another way for marketers to get to kids with their message of "buy our product!"
