Book Description

September 16, 2011
The Madness of Art: Short Stories is a collection of 8 bizarre and fascinating tales about the artistic process. *In "What Irony," a painter of Americana moves to Greenwich Village in the '50s. *"The Shopper Awakes," an heiress accidentally time-travels to a future where fashion is unfashionable. *"Little Crescents," a Vegas niteclub singer decides to become a serious artist, that is, if the ghosts of his old life will let him. *"The Scream," the famous Edvard Munch painting comes to life and runs amok in modern Oslo. In these stories and more, Corey Pung offers a funny, provocative, and often thrilling look into the lives of artists.
