I highly recommend, especially to lovers of Narnia seeking a thoughtful, unabashedly critical discussion.
Miller makes it clear in her prologue that she is enthusiastic about Lewis' work but remains unmoved by its Christian message.
Its partly a biography of Lewis and his friends, including J.R.R. Tolkien, and partly critical analysis of the Narnia books.
