This book is filled with incredibly beautiful images of mandalas found in nature. As an artist, it is not only a feast for the eyes, but amazing inspiration to boot.

This book isn't just about pretty pictures of mandalas. It's about the history of and philosophy/ideas behind them. Very enlightening. The author draws into the discussion both recent advancements in science, math, philosophy as well as discusses the implications thereof. Highly recommended.

This is one the best books i have in my Mandala collection.

Initially, with all its lovely photographs and related content,it looked like a wonderful coffee table book.Once i started reading it, it turned into a magical book written with fantastic logical clarity....to me,it's a book that reveals itself as you go along....logically,it shifts from simple to complex...from a dot to concentric circles to dyads to triangles...to all the other forms a mandalas can manifest in..and all along, the basic source of reference is nature....and this is how one's journey through this beautiful book becomes an eye-opener on many fronts...it has changed the way i perceive the Universe:).

The book is actually quite good at showing mandalas in nature, but I was expecting to see human-made mandalas and so I was not particularly happy. Beautiful photography though.

This is a beautiful book. Gorgeous color photographs of natural mandalas. Beautifully bound, thick soft glossy pages.
It's next to my arm chair by the fireplace to read and enjoy.

Fascinating book, amazing photography. I bought it to use for quilt making inspiration but learned so much about art, math, science, history in the process. Would recommend it not only to adults but to share with children as well. I'm taking one to our grandchildren on our next trip to see them.
