This book helps us women who struggle with the world's way vs. God's way. It helps you identify your value to God and how you can develop your good traits to be the wife, mother, and Godly woman that you truly are. I am a stay at home mom and I struggle with the stereo type of what women in "today's world" should be doing. This book reitterates the value of yourself and God's design for a woman, even the stay at home woman. If you're down because of pressures from friends, family, husband, or just life in general, this is a book that will lift those pressures.

I was absolutely captured as I read this book. The first two chapters were so informative and inspiring. We have ordered several copies for our Women's Ministry to read snd share at our meetings with our younger women who are lured by our society. The impression that outward beauty is what life is all about has our teens and young adults misguided. God looks at what no one else can see, the inner woman's beauty. A must read for all women and soon to be.

The problem with this book is it does not take into account the simple fact that women in Biblical times were culturally
limited in areas such as leadership in church and the workplace. If you are a woman who is content being a
homemaker or baking cookies you will love this book. If you want to learn how to be a woman of Biblical godliness
in today's world where women have an equal status (or should) in church and the workplace you will find little here.

The authors do not believe women should be elders or church leaders for example. If you agree you will enjoy this book. Make cookies, obey your husband and you will be fine.

This is a beautifully written book that all Christian Women should read. In fact, our church used it for a ladies bible study. It teaches just how a spirit filled, Christian woman should live her life, even in today's world.

I am mentoring my daughter-in-law, and this book is helpful in getting her to talk and reflect. I highly recommend it.
