Format: Paperback
One of Shakespeare's best plays. Excellent edition. While dealing with the serious subject matter of racism, greed, and love, this play defies classification. Is it a comedy or a tragedy? Possibly a little of both. Either way it is one of Shakespeare's most discussed and remembered plays, providing some of his most memorable characters.

This is Shakespeare's play with the most depth to me. It raises as many questions as it is entertaining. Definitely my favorite play of all time. I'm happy with this edition because the font is nice and big and easy to read. I've gotten a few editions of plays in the past where the tiny font and overblown footnotes made the words very hard to read.

Merchant of Venice is a great play. It deals with both pure love and the darkest side of human nature at the same time. That balance of the best and worst makes the play very interesting.
