A very good suspenseful and creepy story , Leesia has a very vivid imagination and a scary dream that she has brought to life , it has a good moral story about being nice to people and taking care of your belongings .

I have been reading this for a while and I finally had time to finish it, I usually don't read books that are scary, but I had to read this book, and once I started this book I could not put it down I had to know what happen next. Sherry and Todd Lane found their dream house, Beth their daughter meets this old lady in a wheel chair, who gave her a doll who told her some rules to take care of the doll, soon Beth finds out its dangerous to play with dolls. Bradley Jacobs who was the owner of the house was so glad to get rid of it but soon he gets a phone call and he returns back to the house facing the evil that's in the house and soon meets Beth. Bradley tells Beth more about the house and doll and the lady in the wheel chair. Well Beth make it out alive? I could go on about this book, But I do not wont to ruin it for you. If you haven't read this book you need to. Leesia did an awesome job with this story!!

Wow! This story will defiantly stay with me for a while. I never really played with dolls as a child due to the toy clown in the movie Poltergeist. After reading The Mermaid House, I will be a bit friendlier with my kids’ dolls. The moral of this creepy short story; Remember to be nice to your toys!

The Mermaid House is a suspenseful short story born from the author's dream. A better description would be a nightmare, as the story is an unpredictable, frightening drama.

If you still play with dolls, consider the consequences!

Normally I'm not into scary stories, but with a title that said Mermaid I was thinking, why not!

If you want a book that gets your thoughts off the daily things, or just in between lots of love stories and normal fantasy tales, this will make for a great read.

You will never look at your house or your toys in the same way after your get the hang of the idea behind this one!

Great writing and good getting into the atmosphere!
