Sarah has loved reading and writing stories since her childhood. Life and a career intervened and it took the economic downturn to get her back to writing. As she loves reading romance it was only natural that she would end up writing them! She now lives in Scotland in a male dominated household and is thrilled to have the opportunity to dream up stories. Although the Scottish weather can be a real challenge to her imagination when she is trying to get into a scene set somewhere hot!

Who creates the cover for e-books? This cover is working against the success of this book because it is a sweet well-written modern romance with a story to tell, but the cover screams tasteless story-less erotic porn. So is it too late to change the cover and perhaps the title because it tells little of what happens in the story.
Possible new titles could include, 'Single-mum and Tech millionaire heal and love' or 'Finding a new life and love in Scotland' Why do I feel like I'm writing newspaper headlines? OK, so I admit that finding succinct titles is a difficult process.
This only has one 'sexy' scene and then some memories that rehash the event after the fact, that only happens after hundreds of pages and three months in book time passing. This is NOT a crazy no plot erotic book, in fact, it is a romance novel with the worse cover picture because it is going to turn away the vanilla sweet romance readers!
This is well written and developed character with a host of secondary romances occurring around the main H/h. There is a mystery around a stalker for Carrie and her son Charlie. The characters have already survived a lot of life before finally finding love with each other.

I think I was looking for something else when I "accidentally" bought this book. I read it anyway as a diversion from my usual non-fiction reading. I found it to be poorly written, full of spelling and grammatical errors that annoyed me no end. The plot was just a vehicle for the lusty scenes that one finds in romance novels, so if this is what you're looking for, that's great!

No matter how many times I tried to get into this story I just could not. It seemed like a really good book to me at first. But the book did not grab me and pull me in like I thought it would. So for this I did not finish the book and just deleted it. I wish the author would have put a little more bite into the first chapter to catch my eye. But that is just my opinion..If your the type of person that likes to be grabbed in the first chapter than don't get this book but if your the type that doesn't mind a slow take off good luck..

More About the Author

Sarah Fredricks lives in Central Scotland with her family.

As a child, Sarah loved writing stories and still remembers the two stories she wrote under exam conditions for her 'O' level english! On leaving school, her career took over and for a long time her creative outlet was through singing and performing in amateur operatic productions. She left a successful corporate career after 20 years and became a self-employed management development trainer. This second career is filled with peaks and troughs and during a particularly long trough she started writing her first novel. The peaks took over again and the novel was only finished in February 2012.

Sarah still delivers some training however, now the first novel is available she's going to go straight into writing her next one.

Sarah has been reading romance novels since the age of 15 and would happily never read anything else, but she belongs to a local book club which encourages her to broaden her reading! And Sarah would be the first to admit, she's read some great novels outwith the romance gentre!

When she's not busy writing, training or creating digital art, Sarah plays an active role in her community, enjoys time with her family and still sings (but not as much as she would like to).
