This book is excellent. I have been training with kettlebells for over a decade. I was very fortunate that my powerlifting coach was familiar with them from his travels to Russia for competition. I am very familiar with them, and love what they add to training. This is a must for any new user, or any expert user. You will benefit from this read for sure. I have been using what I learned in here for almost a month and it has made a marked improvement. Thank you for bringing this into my life Sean.

First, the layout makes a lot of sense. Second, I would call the material `Missing Manual' or `Everything You Need to Know About ..."
Now, most impressive and helpful for me was the discussion about the connection of hip, hip hinges and swings.
`Abs and hip hinge' - what a perfect finding.
I have never thought about swings from that point of view. I will from now on.
Also, you provide a very helpful analysis of bad swings. I love your explanation and ask your permission to translate and share with my group.

Next, your discussion about `shoulder mobility improvement' was very helpful.

Finally, I'll test Kettlebell `Density Training' for a week or two and let you know how it feels. This looks very promising.

Don't let the price fool you, this book is packed full of information that will help you in anything kettlebell.
While I'm not really a beginner with kettlebells, I learned some really neat and new tricks that can be applied almost immediately. Sean's explanation is really fun and easy to read as well.
I just took off one point as the pictures are a bit small but that's really my only problem with this book.

Sean always goes a step farther in helping people get the most out of their training. People forget that Kettlebell training is an athletic pursuit and not bodybuilding. It is a skill and this manual will help you perfect that.

Sean Schniederjan was doing rock bottom one legged squats one day (perfect hip/knee/ankle function) and the next morning, his left hip "died," i.e. it had no strength at all, not even enough to step up a single stair. There was no sign of trauma at all. What happened?

Determined to figure out the cause of this mysterious and unexplained loss in total hip function, Sean set off to find the solution.

It was a frustrating search that took almost 1.5 years, but Sean finally found the solution:

Learning the natural movements of the hip.

During his search Sean discovered there was a lack of easy to find and easy to implement information on natural hip movements. He wished that the body had some kind of manual to explain how it could move. During the "dark days" of going back and forth on whether to have surgery or not, Sean decided that when he did find the answer to his "dead" left hip, he was going to share his findings with the world.

Sean has taken the knowledge from his search and put together a systematic movement system for the hip called "Cure Tight Hips Forever." If you have tightness in the front, back or sides of your hip, these are exercises that are easy to try out and could save you a lot of frustration.

Sean has a full time day job and four young children, so his books are short, practical, home-made and to the point. He is thankful for the amazon publishing platform to share training and exercise ideas.

After receiving praise for his ability to explain movements of the body simply, Sean put together a book to help people strengthen their backs for lifting things, whether deadlifting in the weight room or day-to-day lifting called "Posterior Chain Linked," which has been praised for its simplicity and performance enhancing results. One user tripled his deadlift in five minutes using the linking sequence described in this book. Sean wrote "Anterior Chain Linked" to show people how to strengthen their anterior muscles along with a program to get seriously strong abs using minimal equipment.

Muscle heads may complain that Sean is too skinny to write a book on lifting, but they won't complain about the results.

Sean also has written books on improving proper lifting form using kettlebells called the "Missing Manual," exercises to overcome common injuries from running called "Injury Free Running" (one of the exercises helped a CPT rid her knee pain and avoid knee surgery), and a book on improving pullups called "Pullup and Hanging Leg Raise Basics" to help people get more out of their pullup bars. All of his books can be found on amazon. If you have trouble with squatting, check out "Mastering the Pistol," which will should you simple hip opening exercises and how to regain your ability to do rock bottom squats and progress to one legged squats.

He has taken the powerful shoulder correcting results of the kettlebell arm bar and turkish get up exercises that combine shoulder stability and mobility and made a product that allows the user to mobilize and stabilize their shoulders anywhere called "Cure Tight Shoulders Anywhere."

Both Cure Tight Hips Forever and Cure Tight Shoulders Anywhere are perfect if your body is tightening up from too much sitting.
