As my photography business has grown, two things have become clear:

1) A web presence is a MUST; and
2) I know practically nothing about setting up a web presence.

Enter "The Modern Day Printing Press: An Unofficial Guide to Wordpress for Small Business" by Mick Olinik.

This book is written in a well-organized, candid style that makes it a quick (yet oh-so-informative) read. In just 56 pages,
it provides a great jumping off point for anyone who wants to learn more about taking their business website / blog / etc.
to the next level through Internet marketing.

I now understand what needs to be done, what to expect, and (perhaps most importantly) what to look out for when setting up my business website.

I highly recommend this book, and will be looking for more titles from this author in the future.

I received this book personally from Mick Olinik, and it's a great read. If you are just getting started with WordPress and don't have a lot of technical knowledge I feel this is probably the book for you. Mick has written it in a way that's really easy for everyone to understand. I dare say the book is "user friendly". On the flip side I also found the book to not be watered down by the friendly writing style. As a technical user myself, I still found a lot of value in the book's content.

tl;dr

Good for Everyone, but Great for Beginners.
