Editorial Reviews

Having found critical success with 2010's The Chase, which featured the smash radio single Every Time You Run, Manafest has not slowed down, nor has he abandoned his rap-rock roots.

The Moment will feature twelve new songs, including Diamonds featuring Thousand Foot Krutch s Trevor McNevan, that fans will enjoy. Manafest will be hitting the road in support of The Moment, having shared the stage with Christian rock greats such as RED, Thousand Foot Krutch, Skillet, and many others.

I had high hopes for this record, as Mana was really hyping it up as his most personal, but in the end, I was kind of dissapointed. It seems like he's deviating from his rap or even nu-rock roots in favor of a pure alt rock sound, kind of like a TFK clone. He was never really a pure hip-hop artist, but the change is striking. This record is on par with Fighter, but The Chase was better. The overall quality of the songs and lyrics were better. The Moment sounds a but tired and generic in comparison. There were a few songs worth multiple listens, but the album as a whole hinges on its catchy instrumentals and choruses, not on theological depth or good rapping. Diamonds featuring Trevor of TFK is a good example. Catchy, pretty, but nothing really memorable.

Manafest is one of the industry's most underrated artists. His lyrics are so powerful and meaningful and hold so much truth. He's got some sick beats and some jamming guitars which makes the musical aspect fantastic. I would very much highly recommend getting this album, for it is super duper!

The chase and Fighter are great Albums and they are mixed hip hop with rock and it sounds like so good with many ear catch songs!
This Album sounds like an electro, pop, hip hop album with minimal rock elements.
Not one up tempo song. All songs are middle or slow tempo. No ear catch song. Nothing. 2-3 songs not bad, but its all to slowly. Its boring.
sorry but this album is nothing. The chase and fighter are great and this? :( sad sad sad!
