Sometimes it's just nice to know you're not alone with the everyday stressors of being a parent. This book is a common sense guide by "momma's" who have "been there, done that" and more. I pray that I won't have to deal with some of the things these ladies have endured but if I do, I will know I'm not alone. The book is easy to read and not written in a way that "schools" you. It gives you some common sense insight into handling different situations, things that worked for the authors and when you're at your wit's end and have tried everything else you can think of, maybe it will work for you too.
I know one of the authors personally and just recently caught up with her after being best friends in high school more than 20 years ago. I had to pick my jaw up off the floor after listening to just some of the things she and her family have endured over the years. To have the strength to get up and keep moving forward every day let alone write a book about how to deal with it so that others can read about it and not feel isolated is amazing.
Traci Davis is geniunely one of the kindest, most caring and motivational people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. I hope you will read and enjoy the book she's co-written with Vicki Holleman-Perez. It would make a great stocking stuffer for new and experienced parents alike, dealing with everything from teething to the loss of a parent.
