An absolute must read. Keep an eye on this author!,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Money Tree (Hardcover)
As an avid reader I often am unsatisfied with a shot in the dark selection. The Money Tree was a Bulls eye! I could not put it down. I wish it went on forever. If Sam Mills ever writes again, I'll be first in line at the signing. Get it, and read it. That's all I can say. You will agree!

One of the best adventure stories I've read. Thanks to Mills' vivid descriptions you feel like you're braving the river with Mitch and Lee through every page. I would recommend this book to anyone with the spirit for a great adventure. Definitely "Two Thumbs Up!"

The Money Tree is a wonderful book for all ages to read. The fast paced book pulls you into the story of two young boys caught up in roller coaster ride of life and death and becoming men. The setting is located in the Green River Gorge where when man can meet nature at it's most powerful state. The writer vividly paints a picture that draws you into an adventure that can make your pulse race. A must read.

Raining Praise on The Money Tree!,
By Anne Grove (Milton, FL) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Money Tree (Hardcover)
I found the descriptions used in the book to be delightful and sometimes they stretched my imagination. Having lived in Western North Carolina I found the setting to be totally authentic. The author obviously knows this country well. I became friends with the two boys; days after finishing the book, I found myself wondering about them and what they might be doing. The book is fast-paced and exciting and not one easily put down. I am a senior citizen and have recommended it to friends. It is refreshing not to have your mind "garbaged-up" with obsenities. This book belongs on the shelves of all school libraries.
