This movie is SO groovy!!!You love The Monkees...then you have to own this movie!
The movie seems like a psychedelic trip, but in all actuality it is the story of the sixties, you just have to know what you are looking for.
The thing that worked in making this film such a great satire, is the groups savage self-mockery.

|Will "Head" ever be released in 1.85/1 anamorphic widescreen?||
Head was filmed on 35mm media. It was cropped (top and bottom) when shown at the cinema.
In other words 4:3 is better.
To get the same effect just zoom your widescreen TV.
Personally I'm holding out for the hi-def version.
