5.0 out of 5 stars I laughed! September 21, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I've been picking up kids books for my granddaughter, and ended up with this one. It is a bit old for her, but I was thoroughly delighted by it myself.

With many mislaid things around our house (keys included), now I know, monsters eat them!

Loved every word, from Dad's smelly clothes, his mean boss, the trap they set, even the slimy keys!

Five stars!

I volunteer as a teacher's aide in a first grade class. When the children want to hear a story again and again then I know it is a success. The just love the monster stories and I enjoy reading them with the children in our class.

It's almost as if this book was not edited. I've read this about a dozen times to my son, he loves it but he's only 5. I wish I could leave less than one star.
