Cerys lives in the Greater Boston area in a small town in New Hampshire. She spends her days writing, reading books, learning, and working. And maybe sometimes she flirts with the mailman. Some of her most favorite activities involve understanding and learning about emotions and relationships.
She adores pondering sexual sensuality, as well. Most of her writing delves into this in some way, exploring reactions and relationships between different people. While she enjoys writing steamy romance, her goal is to give you substance and intrigue with your sexy scenes. Every story she writes has a delightful plot along with the more devious and delicious scenes we all want to read.
She prefers romance stories with a little mystery and suspense and the occasional romantic thriller. While many of her novels happen in a contemporary setting, she occasionally dabbles in fantasy and paranormal romance.

Solace is a resident of the small town of Glenwood, but she's absolutely reviled by everyone there. After being chosen to become the Demon King's wife, she gladly accepts, if only to stem the tide of anger and hate that flows from everyone's lips. As someone who has suffered years of doubt and self-inflicted blame for things that were generally out of my control, I connected with Solace from the very first paragraph. Following her journey wasn't easy, but very rewarding.
Bastion, the Demon King, isn't as vile as his reputation says. The Demon King has a soft heart, and is touched by Solace's years and years of strife. The romance that blossoms between the two is exciting to follow and fun to behold.
Cerys' writing style comes off effortless and engaging. I'll keep my eye out for more from her in the future!
I rooted for Solace from the moment I met her. Who hasn't felt ostracized at some point and longed for escape? Solace finds a surprising love in the Demon King, Bastion. He connects with Solace, moved by her years of being vilified by her people. I can't say much more without whipping out a spoiler alert, but if you're looking for a fantasy romance with a relatable heroine, a complex, moving hero, and incredible world-building, check out The Monster Within. You won't regret it!
