I would like for this book to have more pictures like Oblivion and Skyrim's strategy guide.
Aaron S. Evans
I will probably waste money buying the goty strategy guide for it, and if that is the same way, i'll be pretty darn dissappointed.
Steven Dull
Elder Scrolls games are huge and have tons of things to do so having this guide really helped me figure out what I needed to do.

...and this book gives you what you need to rise to the challenge, especially in this day of dumbed-down games. Morrowind does NOT hold your hand, or have quest compasses. Even the most clever and dedicated players will find this guide useful. If nothing else, it's one of the most entertaining guides for a game that I've ever read. The writer obviously has a sense of humor, and doesn't just regurgitate the dry facts.

Some people have said "Well, I could just Google it..." which is very true. But the UESP wiki won't show you the exact directions to a dungeon, if you're struggling: it just reiterates what the in-game NPCs say. This book has full maps of every area in the game, even for the expansions. This will be my second copy since 2004: it is that indispensable.

This guide is awesome. It is like a large paperback and very well put together. It's almost like a college book which I think is kind of cool. It's very helpful and well written and the game is very addicting just like you would expect from any Elder Scrolls game and any game made by Bethesda. I recommend this book for any true fan or any RPG fan that is thinking of getting into the Elder Scrolls series.

Although Morrowind is over 10 years old, there are still hundreds of hours of quests. It is especially well suited for older computers and those modern ones with integrated graphics. This guide is invaluable to play this game, giving much detail not available in the official guide. It is strongly recommended, but difficult to find since it is long out of print.

With out this guide it would be very hard to play this game. Because of the way this game is played, you need direction.

Morrowind Prophecies guide. Well, as much as i wanted to give this 5 stars I had to give it 3 and I'll tell you why. First I'd like to say its not the sellers fault its bethesda's or whoever wrote this book. The book was about as helpful as the game was, it doesn't tell you much besides "go talk to so and so than get this item and bring it back" It doesn't tell you where the item is, how to get there, how to find it, how to find who to talk to. That being said, I find online guides more useful, but I love Morrowind and have sense it first came out! So even if it wasn't the best guide or very helpful it was great to add it to my collection. I just wanted to warn everyone that this guide isn't very helpful, its more of a collectors book, with only memories to come with it.

These days, the question is, do I buy a guide or just search a FAQ on my smart phone while I play?

In the case of Morrowind, it is worth it to have a paperback guide on your lap. This guide has the whole world map gridded-out and detailed with points of interested. From there it covers the obligatory main quest, then the faction quests. It's not missing anything significant as far as I'm concerned, and it's usually cheap enough used that it's well worth it to have your own paper copy on hand while you play.

I meant to order the one with the added content for the game of thew year edition but this is still a nice book to have if you dont care about the game of the year additions. I also dont like that this book is a lot smaller than the oblivion and skyrim books so looks goofy on the shelf but not a big deal.
