Editorial Reviews

2012 release from the Australian vocal quartet. Human Nature is a group of four high school friends who forged one of the most successful careers in Australian music history and today are one of the preeminent vocal harmony groups in the world. With five No. 1 albums in their native Australia and millions of albums sold worldwide, Human Nature has made a name for themselves around the globe. Now, the multi-platinum, Australian sensation are storming America with The Motown Record and bringing their incredible vocal harmonies to some of pop music's most enduring anthems. Songs include Human Nature's fresh and distinctive versions of "Get Ready" (featuring Smokey Robinson), "My Girl," "Ain't Too Proud to Beg" and many more. In addition, the album includes a cappella versions of "Ooo Baby Baby" and "Just My Imagination (Running Away With Me)", that showcase Human Nature's amazing four-part vocal harmonies. Adding to the celebration is a bonus track, a compelling new studio version of the Jackson 5's "I'll Be There," the first Motown song that Human Nature ever sang together.

Human Nature selected great songs for their first US motown CD. Of course when you bought all the other CDs of the band you won't find a song you don't know but for everybody who knows them only since their time in Las Vegas (great show, a must see when you're there!) this CD is a great start and hopefully a reason to buy all their other great CDs too.

Although the music is superb, don't be fooled. This is a collection. This is a "best of" of their Motown albums.

Saw Human Nature 8/16/14 on tour in Atlantic City. They were superb! This is one of the best vocal groups I have ever heard. Their live performance was flawless, energetic and nostalgic. It was so perfect that if you closed your eyes you would think you were listening to a recording. Their band was awesome too. Had to take a piece of them home with me so I had to buy this CD with songs that they featured in the show. Great pick of songs... Ooh Baby Baby (in accapela) is my absolute favorite. I'm probably playing it out but I don't care! I love their voices!

I've been to HN's Vegas show five times with my hubby (we just got back last week again) and I fell in LOVE with their superbly talented and energetic singing and dancing from the first show we went to. I bought this CD twice, because it's fantastic! I also got to have them sign it after the shows! You will love them singing these Motown hit songs, trust me. These guys are celebrating their 25th year in show biz, so they know how to entertain with class, and pure voices in harmony. Special mention to Phil, who belts out the "rock" type of songs solo.

We saw this group in Las Vegas and their show was one of the best we've ever seen. They sing Motown better than some of the original Motown groups. The CD is a carbon copy of their Motown performance. If you like the Motown era, you will love this CD. Smokey Robinson endorses this group for all the right reason. Imagine 4 white Aussies from Sydney singing this perfect Motown harmony, extraordinary!
