5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent reference!, April 5, 2009

This book was exactly what I wanted: a comprehensive reference to the types of strengthening and conditioning exercises I might want to do for my various outdoor activities. It's well-written and easy to understand, and has a lot of information. Love it!

2.0 out of 5 stars Nothing new, March 4, 2006
Poorly organized and difficult to read. The new edition adds more pages but no new information -- if anything, it's worse than the original. If you are looking to improve your performance, this book leaves a lot to be desired.
