I purchased this book for my wife, who is completing manicure school and will be opening her own salon. Upon arrival, I found the book to be only 61 pages long...but hey! it could still have some great info...then my wife noted that the type font was quite large...so you didn't have to write much for the 61 pages and the entire book can be read in 30 minutes...with breaks included.

Finally, there was one step for success that was a bit stretching...especially for an author who collected 25 years of experience into writing this masterpiece...and one of those ten steps to success (spoiler alert!)...make sure that you have a daily bowel movement.

To say that we were disappointed with this book would be an understatement.

You have been warned.

I Love this book! It is insightful, funny and a touch spiritual. The author informs us of what to expect after we graduate from a nail academy.
Some of us think that we will just open up our own salon and that customers will start banging down the door for our service. Or some of us can't understand why we can't keep a regular clientel. The author is trying to let us know that we are responsible for our sucess or failure.
We must treat ourselves and our clients with respect and expect it in our workplace. There is so much more and I don't want to give away the book so just buy it for yourself and buy a couple copies and give them to your co-workers so everyone can be on the same page and have a successful salon that everyone wants to go to.
Enjoy!

A must read for anyone going into the service industry. A timely reminder of how to treat a customer and how to turn that treatment into money. Loved it!

Since I am not a Nail Specialist, I found this to be interesting because it gives a whole new prespective on those who deal with other's nails; fingers or toes. Hey, that is a very personal contact. What patience, what imagination, what the specialist must endure!! Good book. cougar
