Richard La Reina makes it sound pretty easy to pick up hot girls, but I think this book also deals very well with how to live a happier life by interacting with not just women but everyone. This is a one-book course on how to enjoy and appreciate, and communicate with, all peoples. Good advice for every guy, especially the introvert.

This is an elegantly simple book. Richard is passionate about what he's talking about, and seems to care very deeply about this area. Which would make sense since it's more or less his life. The book focuses on imparting practical applications to picking up women in a very natural and uncomplicated manner. While he gives some very good lines and situational phrases to work by, his book teaches you how to truly be able to do the pick up game in the same way you live your life. It's not about being fake, or trying to memorise lists of scenarios and lines that may or may not work, it's about transforming yourself into a better person and being naturally attractive. This sort of information will work on the most anti-social and introverted people, if they're willing to take the time to apply the stuff he gives you.
In short, this book will give you everything you need to transform yourself into a person women will feel attracted to. The rest is up to you. It's not an easy path, but it's a rewarding one.

I've read both of Richard's books, watched his DVD's and even attended private approaching classes so I don't consider myself new to pick up.
True, much of what is in the book was already covered in his old book, which was by far the best book on this subject I'd ever read. The new book is perhaps a little better because it's a little less autobiographical with a little more daygame thrown in, which is what I was hoping for.
So if you're new to pick up then this book is by far the best thing on the subject you'll read, a perfect introduction, although my one complaint coming from a newbie perspective would be the lack of material on approach anxiety. This is still the number 1 issue for most guys starting in pick up. I've found the book by Charlie Valentino; Destroy Approach Anxiety - Effortlessly Approach Women Without Fear to be the best book on that subject and should be the first book all aspiring pick up artists should read.
If you are however advanced in pick up then you're not going to get an awful lot of new material from The Natural, if any at all. But I'll conclude by saying it is still probably the best book on this subject! But I don't think it quite matches up to the hype. Still, I'll give it a 5 star!

Two books awesome results. I bought The Building of a Confident Man: How to Create Self Esteem and Become More Attractive to Women to build my self esteem (inner game) and The Natural to beef up my outer game. The Natural encourages you to be your own man and not fake things or try to manipulate women unlike some other PUA reads. I really liked the examples. I'm big on dumbing things down and this book does that. I treat this book as a reference dating book to go back and deal with my weak areas. I think beginners as well as above average men can get something out of this book. I did think it could be formatted better as it reads funny in my Kindle but this is minor.

This book is broken down so well. I've always loved Richard La Ruina so I picked up this book as soon as it came on the market. It flows from chapter to chapter, but the best part about it is that when you finish and you want to take action "in the field" you can brush up on a certain chapter that you want to improve tonight. If it is displaying strong alpha character or gaining attraction, you can take 15 minutes before you go out and Richard will give you a simple, but effective assignment to work on for the night. Enjoy the book and the endless women you will be able to seduce.

Richard La Ruina's The Natural: How to Effortlessly Attract the Women You Want is the typical pick-up book in the sense that it is sleekly designed and full of loads of minute details and advice concerning how to meet women. Richard's tone is comforting and very encouraging, without seeming judgemental. In short, this book is going to do very well, and be a hit in the seduction community.
Unfortunately it isn't very good.
As someone who has gone through the transformation of not knowing how to meet girls to dating whoever I choose, I can tell you that 90% of this book is just pure fluff. It is not hard to meet and date hot girls - you literally just need to change your mentality. It is easy, and much more ethical than some of the bogus advice Richard recommends. How To Have Sex With Beautiful Women is ten times better than this book, and a fraction of the price. Likewise you will learn MUCH more about women by reading ten pages of David Deida than all of this book. You've been warned - there are better options out there.

Works like a charm.
I was chatting with a woman that I felt I wanted via an Instant Message feature
of an Internet Dating App. on my iPad and when I sensed she was giving me a
"brush-off" I thought of the 3 basic strategies which Richard La Ruina clearly
shares his experienced perspective in this "self-help" toolbox.
I quickly managed to apply the 1st step and applied myself in being a
charming humorous man with some inspiration I had gained from this book
and from Richard's examples of what generally worked for him. In a few short
quips I had her responding back with LOL(s) and when I offered to leave the
chat in respect to the "brush-off" she wonder why and practically begged me
to stay!!! I was dumbfounded and could hardly believe my eyes, so I
smile to myself and thought the author was right- this could even be applied

The moral to this is she and I have been chatting nearly daily for over a week
and have made plans to meet for a dinner/concert two nights from now or 9 days
after I applied the lessons learned from this insightful book.
