The European Invasion continues with Sinner...,
By A Customer
This review is from: Nature of Evil (Audio CD)
First off, one question...have U heard Primal Fear? Well, Primal members Tom Naumann (guitar) and Mat Sinner (bass) cut their teeth in this German outfit. The Germans must know something we don't, because when it comes to metal, there is nobody better. One listen to "The Nature Of Evil" will convince you. Right from the opening shred of "Devil's River" right through to the end cut, a cover of Thin Lizzy's "The Sun Goes Down", this album grabs you by the throat and doesn't let up. There is no ballad on this album. There's no wimpy "I love you" lyrics. This CD is straight smoke from beginning to end. My personal faves are the aforementioned "River", first single "Faith And Conviction" (which I think sounds a little like Megadeth) and the powerful "Walk On The Darkside". The Primal connection becomes even more clear in track #2- "A Question Of Honour" where Fear vocalist Ralf Scheepers lends his vocals alongside Sinner's. Bottom line...this is a CD you absolutely must have in your collection. Period.

Sinner belts out more of their great 80's hard rock sound on this album. There are few groups that could ever pound out rock like this band! Buy it and enjoy it over and over.
