Go figure!! Halloween ends and out comes all the Christmas stuff!! But this book is a welcome surprise and a great addition to anyone's holiday collection! I have friends with kids who will enjoy reading this book just as their parents will enjoy reading it to them. There's also a coloring book edition which is great because kids can color it (obviously) but it allows them to put their own stamp on it. That and it keeps them from scribbling all over the wonderful illustrations of the finished book. Gonna go buy a few copies of the coloring book edition for my friends mentioned earlier in this review.

I bought this and "100 Poems For My Ex...", the author's release prior to this one. Both book are equally HILARIOUS, IMAGINATIVE, and CLEVER. I have had the luxury of seeing this writer/comic read and perform several excerpts from this book at local venues around LA (some of them seating 300+)!

Each epilogue is sheer unencumbered genius, and I will continue to buy from this author.

Bought my nephew a Kindle and loaded it up with a few books including this one, he ended up ignoring others. Sometimes hard to know what kids are into but he couldn't shut up about Max (main character). Anyway this was a good find, recommended for those looking for a neatly wrapped Christmas tale thats also contemporary.

I love a good Christmas tale, so I couldn't resist checking this one out and I was not disappointed. Move over, Rudolph! Can't wait to read this to both my nephews when I see them over the holidays.

Such a fun holiday read! I haven't come across an actual CUTE holiday story in quite some time, so what a pleasant surprise. And the illustrations are super cute, not creepy like some picture books.

My mother is a children's book author and she turned me on to this new book since it is now one of her favorites. Great artwork, wonderful story. A real treasure to add to the holiday collection.

The Naughty Boy Who Saved Christmas is a delicious retreat from the same old children's books promoting the "spirit of Christmas." This book not only shows that positivity is more productive than negative, hurtful behavior, but also that communication and understanding are key in healthy, loving parent-child (or Santa-elf!) relationships. Naughty boy Max as well as naughty elf Elliott both act out in harmful ways that are fueled by feelings of hurt and disappointment. Parents can use this book as a tool to engage in dialogue with their children about their feelings, needs, and intentions and address what's going on their heads as well as how they're expressing themselves. As a mother of a five year old son, I'm happy to introduce The Naughty Boy Who Saved Christmas to our library of holiday books and recommend it to all families with small children.

An adorable story to read to the little ones during the holidays. A fun reminder that nice always triumphs naughty and that a hug is the best present any one can give. Cute. Cute. Cute.
