I use this for all my traveling, and have never had any issues with it in terms of space, reformation of form after packing, or neck discomfort. At home, I have the regular sized pillow, which I also love. However, neither pillow works for people who sleep on their backs or stomachs, b/c it is too high for proper neck position. I am a side sleeper, and don't have issues, in fact, the rare times I roll over onto my back, I have unconsciously moved the pillow away.

I've had this pillow for almost 5 years and bought another one for my wife about 3 years ago. I am in the military and have traveled around the world with this pillow and won't leave home without it. In my experience, the tempur pedic brand is by far the best memory foam you can purchase and far outperforms any other options. This can be rolled up into a neck pillow or opened up for a great sleeping pillow. The initial price may seem high but the overall value is outstanding and worth every penny. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

During a very long overseas flight and on the way back, I got absolutely no sleep! I had chosen not to take either of my travel pillows, the Tempur-Pedic Neck Support pillow or this NeckPillow. I thought they would take up too much space in my carry-on bag and chose to use the one the tour supplied. BIG MISTAKE! That was the most miserable flight over and the one back was even worse.

Next time my Tempur-Pedic travel pillow will go. Something else will have to be left behind, but unless I suddenly decide to spend thousands to fly 1st-Class, I will either never fly overseas again or the pillow will go with me.

I had tried to fit it into my carry-on bag. It just missed fitting. It really isn't very big, but would have been the perfect size during the flight. I just thought it looked funny stashed on top and I didn't want to bother with it in the airports. Next time it goes with me or I don't go.

The only negative that I found was, it doesn't fit very well into the little pillow case that I bought when I got it. It slides out and looks kind of strange due to its unusual shape. It was always falling out of its pillow case. That wouldn't keep me from buying it again though. The memory foam is very nice.

Thinking about it right now though, I think I would get a tiny Tempur-Pedic pillow with a normal shape rather than this one, just because it would stay in a pillow case better and, I think I might just find it more comfortable. The Tempur-Pedic memory foam part is a deal-breaker though. I would have nothing else! Love it!

I found that this travel pillow is smaller and most important to me, is softer than the standard size models in this brand. I bought this for a replacement if ever needed but have been using one for a few years now. I have a badly whiplashed neck and found this little pillow to be great for good support of the neck and head. It was good for sleeping in bed but have been sleeping in a recliner due to back problems now. As I said I like it so much that I bought a second one just to know it's there if I ever needed it because it is so helpful when sleeping or resting.

Unfortunately this pillow was a waste of money for me. I had two issues which made it unusable:

First, the smell never entirely dissipated and caused allergy problems for my husband. They claim that these are hypo-allergenic, but this was not the case for us.

Second, this actually CAUSED me to develop neck pain. I've used cheaper foam pillows in the past with no problem, but something about this one wreaked havoc on my neck. I stopped using the pillow after about a month and the pain was gone in a week!

This was an extremely disappointing experience, made even more so by Tempur-Pedic's refusal to accept returns and lack of concern with the issues caused.
