Most Helpful Customer Reviews

8 of 8 people found the following review helpful By Joanna Dabrowska on July 28, 2000
Format: Audio CD
This album is incredible. From the jungle sounds of John Cage's Third Construction to the sounds of urban life depicted in his Second Construction....this CD is definitely worth buying. Also on the CD is a piece called Double Music, which was co-written by John Cage and Lou Harrison. The textures of the piece will blow your mind! A little insider information: it was recorded in only one take, no splicing! It's absolutely sublime. I recommend this to anyone, whether they enjoy classical percussion music or not. This is not your average recording.
