Kindergarten-Grade 3-In this contemporary send-up of Clement C. Moore's poem, a family overwhelmed by holiday preparations comes to realize that "Christmas is about love./And we have quite enough." Energetic, exaggerated cartoon illustrations accompany the lengthy, unevenly rhymed text, which scans awkwardly and does not easily lend itself to sharing aloud. Readers searching for the true meaning of Christmas will want to look elsewhere.-S. P.

This story combines all the crazy things that families go through to get ready for Christmas. I just hope they never happen to you! But it's fun to laugh at the silliness that holiday stress puts us through. So have a good laugh. And share this book with a friend.See all Editorial Reviews
This was a cute book. My daughter read it in her class in 2nd Grade, so she was excited to get a copy at home, too. Silly little book about the stresses of the holidays.Published 4 months ago by the bloomies

This book is absolutely adorable. As others have said, its Christmas tasks set the rhythm of the old story. Can't wait to read it to my daughter at Christmas!Published 6 months ago by pantsarella
