Stephanie Chandler has written some great books on marketing for all writers, but I was pleased that she geared this book specifically to nonfiction writers.

I tried looking up bits and pieces of information online but the piece meal approach didn't give me what I needed. This book however put it all together in a very comprehensive way. It's good to read this book straight through and get the big 'overwhelming' picture. Then set it aside and let your brain digest it. After a few days/weeks when it feels less overwhelming you'll want to go back to specific chapters as needed. Each chapter is like a book of its own. An example is the website chapter, it contains everything you need to know to optimize your site. Also, very helpful are the marketing plan questions and interviews from different non-fictions writers. This shows you the different approaches each author finds most useful.

I bought my copy of this book and have been reading and recommending this book to everyone I come in contact with who is writing a nonfiction book. I have a highlighter attached to my copy because of so many entries that I must do when I get back to my computer. Stephanie's book has given me sooo many great ideas on how to market my book, that my wife will NOT let me read it after 8 p.m. If I do, I get some amazing ideas that won't let me go to sleep. For example, the author talks about starting up a speaker's network in her city. What a great idea! I couldn't sleep for many days on end with the excitement to bring speakers who are also authors, together for networking and to learn from each other. My city's group begins meeting in just a few weeks. I plan to buy copies of this book to give to all of my entrepreneural friends and family members! This has to be the best book on nonfiction book marketing!

This is another great book from Stephanie Chandler. I think most authors focus so much energy on creating their book that they don't think about how they'll actually SELL it. Then they learn the sad lesson that people will not beat down your door simply because the book exists.

Stephanie talks about building up to marketing (laying the groundwork by creating an audience) and creating a PLAN. Then covers every aspect of promoting your book online and offline.

I've been self publishing for many years and I haven't been doing a lot of this stuff. Thanks to Ms. Chandler, I now have a recipe book for creating even more sales.

This is a must-have for non-fiction authors!

I've been reading a lot about marketing lately, and after awhile the information gets repetitive. That is why I was thrilled to find this book (recommended to me by author Nina Amir). There were many new ideas in here that I hadn't come across anywhere else. This is my favorite marketing book. Thanks Stephanie!

Ms. Chandler has written fully-comprehensive book for non-fiction authors. It is SO comprehensive, in fact, that you could literally do a tenth of her suggestions and successful promote a new {or past} book. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to using many of her strategies with my books.

Stephanie Chandler has written some great books on marketing for all writers, but I was pleased that she geared this book specifically to nonfiction writers. As a brand new writer, I have relied on the information in this book as a step-by-step guide and resource for the entire process. I highly recommend it to new and seasoned writers alike.

Stephanie packs a lot of information in her new book and it is a very good overview to developing you marketing plan. For me, it was more information I already knew, but I do believe it would be a very solid and useful source for someone that isn't more advanced in their knowledge of online and offline marketing. In any event, well worth the price and the access to the helpful spreadsheets and checklists are great for the person having a bit of trouble getting organized.
