After owning a too small Eureka Solitaire (couldnt even sit up) i bought this wanting something a little heavier but with much more space. The poles are just sweet, very light, gold anodized, and being alum. they will not snap like my fiberglass poles did on my Eureka. This thing is also really waterproof, everything but the mesh has a really thick coating of some sort of silicone or rubber. I like the colors a lot. I just want to mention i did my research on this tent, hours and hours, and for the price, this is a top contender imo. The thing weighs 3-4oz over 4lbs, which crushes the "Eureka Tetragon 5" 2 man tent (5lbs 12oz). I took this on a short 20 mile hike over 2.5 days. One thing that impressed me was the speed of assembely, putting it up was quick but taking it down was super quick. The way the poles are designed you can just slide then away from the tent instead of unclipping the plastic tabs one by one. The ventalation in this is good, i never woke up to any condensation like my last tent did. Also without the rainfly you get a very good view for stars out of the "no see um " mesh. I dont know why theres no reviews on this tent yet, except for that i think this is a new model, but i just wanted to add my 2c.
