I love this book! I bring it to each of my son's doctors visits, it makes it so easy to tell the doctor how much he nurses, and how many diapers I have changed. I also love the daily quotes! I would recommend this to any new mom!

I saw this on the shelf at my local Borders liquidation sale in Summer 2011, and picked it up. My first baby was due in November, and it looked handy and inspiring. Little did I know that it would become a chronicle of my child's first few months on Earth!

I have notes in the margins about her pediatrician appointments and questions that I asked her doctor. All her nursing times and diapers are chronicled in there, of course. The time my college friends came to visit us. Her first genuine (not gassy) smile at Mommy. I even wrote down the names of my hospital nurses on day one, I've forgotten their names by two years later, of course. Oh, and I chronicled when she was back to her birth weight (day 8), and when I was back in my skinny jeans (day 8, too!). All the details you forget over time, you know?

The quotes and tips for each day are amazing. They are timed to hit you right when you start wondering about that certain topic--like when you wonder why your little baby is cluster feeding on day two, or on day four when Mommy gets weepy due to a hormone rush.

My point is: this journal makes it EASY to chronicle your breastfeeding and new normal with baby. So nice. So nice, actually, that I just got my second copy in the mail for my son, due this summer. I'm SOOOO excited to chronicle his first few months, too. It's great not only for the new mother, but for the seasoned nurser... I nursed my daughter until she was 15 months old.

Breastfeeding was very difficult for me. I would not have gotten through the first few weeks without this book. I loved all of the information in it and that it allowed me to problem solve on my own. I met with a lactation expert at one point, but she didn't tell me anything I hadn't already learned from the book.

This diary is a must have for nursing moms, especially first time moms! I LOVE this book and plan to buy it for all of my friends when they have babies!! The daily charts are perfect for tracking feedings and diapers. My pediatrician and my lactation consultant were impressed with the diary. There are blank pages for writing notes to your little one or anything you may want to remember. I use the blank pages to keep track of my daughter's sleep schedule. I LOVE the daily quotes and the breastfeeding information in this book. It really helped me learn about breastfeeding during the first few weeks, and the quotes keep me encouraged during sleepless nights! I highly recommend this book!!!!
