From the Back Cover
He identified JonBenet's killer by deciphering the ransom note. He decoded O.J.'s "suicide note" to confirm he had committed a double murder. He decrypted letters from BTK to predict that he was about to kill again-the only profiler to do so. He studied statements by Joran van der Sloot and Deepak Kalpoe to tie them to the slaying of Natalee Holloway. Now psychiatrist and forensic profiler Dr. Andrew G. Hodges gets inside the mind of a different kind of deceiver, an unscrupulous politician---Barack Obama. Using a unique, cutting-edge technique to read "between the lines" of people's statements Hodges ultimately discovers the truth. By analyzing two of Obama's most important speeches and two heartfelt letters to his daughters, he delves into the president's unconscious and decodes his deeper messages. These communications originate from a part of the subconscious Hodges calls the "super intelligence"--the amazing intuitive power hinted at in Malcolm Gladwell's book Blink. It's a brilliant "see all, tell all" mind. On the surface, readers will follow Obama from his controversial birth, to his Muslim childhood, to his indoctrination by radical left-wing activists, and finally to his historic presidency. Yet below the surface, where the super intelligence reigns, frighteningly he confesses to the unimaginable secret fury which controls him--directed at America. Deep down he answers every question about himself. Is he angry enough to create a constitutional crisis and run as an illegal president? Is he angry enough to double down and create a phony birth certificate? Is this just the tip of the iceberg of his unmitigated fury? He alone can tell us.
About the Author
ANDREW G. HODGES, M.D., is a board-certified psychiatrist in private practice. Previously he was assistant clinical professor of psychiatry at the University of Alabama School of Medicine. Dr. Hodges has helped pioneer a breakthrough to the brilliant unconscious mind, which he explained in his 1994 groundbreaking book The Deeper Intelligence (which he now calls the “super intelligence”). A noted forensic profiler, he developed his technique, “ThoughtPrint Decoding,” by accessing the unconscious super intelligence of suspects during criminal investigations, basing his analysis on verbatim testimony, transcripts of police interviews, letters and emails created by the suspects. He discovered a deeper moral compass which prompts people to always tell the truth—between the lines—in the special symbolic language of the subconscious. His work added a whole new dimension to the forensic science of psycholinguistics. Law enforcement authorities nationwide, including the FBI, have requested his expertise in cases ranging from the high-profile disappearance of Natalee Holloway in 2005 to the murder of JonBenét Ramsey in 1996. Dr. Hodges has written for a major FBI publication and presented his cutting-edge technique at a law enforcement conference at the FBI training facility in Quantico, Virginia. In addition to assisting criminal investigators, Dr. Hodges also applies his super-intelligence technique in the analysis of leaders who confess unconsciously when they are violating their deeper moral compass. Dr. Hodges reveals how important spiritual issues are in the unconscious. He utilized decoding techniques to explore the human personality of Jesus Christ in his book, Jesus: An Interview Across Time—A Psychiatrist Looks at His Humanity (Bantam, 1988). Religion columnist Mike McManus called it “the most important book I’ve read besides the Bible.” Dr. Hodges has been interviewed extensively in print and broadcast, and has appeared on such programs as Fox’s “Hannity,” “Geraldo at Large,” CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360,” ABC’s “The View,” Primetime CNN (Nancy Grace), “Court TV Investigation,” and MSNBC’s “Morning Show,” He has also been featured in USA Today, the Chicago Tribune, and the San Francisco Chronicle.
