Format: MP3 Music
This album is a real find. If you like Trusty and / or The Grifters (two of Memphis and Little Rock's seminal bands), then you will like Dragoon. An uberrocking three-piece, the 'goon, as I like to call them, puts on a visceral live show, and has managed to capture lightning in a bottle with "The Offending Party."

The album is complex yet gritty, artful and all-out-rockin. $9 for eleven songs, and GREAT songs, to boot, is a paltry sum when compared with the ultimate meaning of your purchase: Dragoon is one of a SMALL handful of American bands who are keeping DIY indie music OUT of the adolescent doldrums that characterize modern EMO [retch] and IN the hearts and minds of the thoughtful, the dedicated, and the adult. Any kid with a brain will recognize this as real within thirty seconds of listening.

If you pass on this now, you will be back for it later. Save yourself the embarrassment.
