Dr Tom Laga says:
Is there anyone else besides my wife and me who finds The [Webster] Official Scrabble Players Dictionary 4th Edition [2005] already dated and favoring really, really obscure words rather than contemporary words from technology, computers, the internet, nutrition, fitness, stress management, wellness, THEE Arts [music, dance, theater; art, literature, photography]--words we can really use in real life? I've written to Webster expressing my dismay last year and this year. I feel that they're sleeping on the job, resting on their laurels, and are not responsive to those of us who have purchased at least three of their Scrabble dictionaries. Is there another company out there which wants to offer an alternative to the 2005 Webster 4th edition? Sincerely, Dr Tom
