About the Author

After spending ten years as a video games designer and producer, Mark Walden has recently left the games industry to write and be a full-time dad to his daughter, Megan. He studied at Newcastle University, where he received a BA in English literature and an MA in twentieth-century literature, film, and television. It was there he met his wife, Sarah. The family lives in England.

I absolutely loved every second of it,from the dramatic prologue to the brilliant climax. I stand by my first review in the fact that it's much better than Harry Potter,and I'd still recommend it to anyone

If you are looking for good books to get boys reading, you have found what you are looking for with the H.I.V.E series. They are action-packed and well-written. My 11 year old couldn't put it down. Start with the first one first, though, or your child might get confused.

I have throurghly enjoyed this book and the one before it. IReally want to see this developed into a series.
