Tom Nelson lives in Central Ohio with his wife Carolyn. He is the author of two medieval sagas, The Winds of Wharhalen and The Paladin of Callendro. A third completed novel, Warrior of the Dusk, is expected out in 2012. Tom's favorite reading is fiction from great 19th century authors such as Robert Louis Stevenson, Alexandre Dumas, Fyodor Dostoevsky, and James Fennimore Cooper.

This is a wonderful story of love and intrigue, set in a time of chivalry and valor. Great characters that made me truly care about them, rejoice in their victories and mourn in their sorrows. The detail of historical research is apparent as is the knowledge of horses. I read and enjoyed Mr. Nelson's first book. I hope there is another book in the works!
