4.0 out of 5 stars GREAT READ March 25, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
I have 3 little ones and this book is doing a great job at helping me avoid paying for medical bills as they get older. Paleo dieting is one of the best ways to provide quality nutrition at an affordable price. The only thing that i dread is the amount of cook time involved in being "healthy" as per se. I resort to cooking paleo meals 3 times of the week and the rest of the time i use my slow cooker. I read Top 50 Healthiest Slow Cooker Recipes which gave me some great ideas for dinner meals. I recommend Paleo dieting to anyone but if you are time capped like me i suggest using a slow cooker for your meals. This book was excellent i love amazon!

3.0 out of 5 stars Easy for who? May 15, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
These aren't easy in the "Hey, I have four kids and need to throw dinner together in 10 minutes or they're going to rebel on me and we'll end up in a drive-through or at least eating out."

They still have, what I consider, some exotic ingredients. Kids are so easy to go paleo because they don't usually require, or like, fancy fritattas and complicated procedures.

Almond butter on apples- paleo and easy snack.
Chicken in a crockpot with diced tomatoes, garlic, and green chillies- paleo, easy, and makes great "tacos" for kids and parents alike.

I'd love to see a Paleo book that didn't steer straight at things that either cost an arm and a leg or that the average (brought up so far on pb&j) kid won't look at with horrified suspicion when presented at the dinner table.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kids love it! June 23, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book has many of the typical kid meals they love before going Paleo; chicken fingers, fries, pudding, cookies. The recipes are short and require the ingredients all Paleo eaters should have in their pantry. It's a great start to transitioning the kids. Thanks!

5.0 out of 5 stars Love The Recipes March 16, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book is filled with delicious recipes that any child, even the non-paleo ones will love.
For the most part all of the recipes are simple and easy to make, but also very tasty, which is a very important aspect when it comes to introducing children to healthy food.
I also liked the fact that the foods used in the recipes didn't contain any exotic hard to find ingredients.

Recipes look great...I bookmarked several to try out. Not overly complicated, not a thousand ingredients, either. Nice photos, too. Overall a nice book.

3.0 out of 5 stars Worth a couple recipes, but there are better cookbooks out there.
I find that some of the measurements are off. It's an okay cookbook, but there are better! We have been able to modify some of the recipes, but who wants to have to do that!?
