The Pastor's Wife Does Cry! is a closer look at the deception of women who carry the spirit of Jezebel -- an unclean spirit with a desire for power and control that is obscured through deception. In addition, it discloses countless examples of a pastor who led two lives with different personalities that dominated each role. First Lady Bea Morgan is an exceptional woman of God who is called to pray, study, fast, and seek His guidance through her longsuffering and repeated public humiliation.

First Lady Bea gives an up close and personal account of instances whereby she calls on Jesus for strength. In His loving kindness, He kept her calm during many a storm through the power of His word and the Holy Spirit. If it were not for her activating her faith and calling on Jesus there would have been a different outcome. God knew all the players and her motivation to stand by Pastor Claxton William Morgan regardless of his brutal imperfections, which is agreeable to God and pleasing in His sight.

This memoir offers many scriptural references and sound spiritual counsel. This is not a tell-all book to reveal names and places, but rather a journey of one woman's furnace of affliction and how she never misses it as an opportunity to rise above her circumstance to notice the lessons, blessings, and fruit she's acquired along the way while giving God all the glory.

There are many who suffer while following Christ.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 And HE said to me, "MY grace is sufficient for you, for MY strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake.

Lady Bea Morgan prayed for a Godly husband and God revealed Clayton. Their relationship seemed to be God inspired and within six weeks they were engaged. Six months into their marriage, his dream was answered as he asked to pastor a prominent Colorado church. The challenges of work, preaching, teaching a demanding flock, and dealing with a blended family lead to emotional abuse. Though it all Lady Bea Morgan remains prayerful, she continues to nurture her relationship with God and finds the power of fasting. She discusses how to deal with close female friends, establishing ministries, embracing a blended family, the power of prayer, fasting and speaking in tongues. Advice is given to First Ladies, potential minister's wives and pastors.

THE PASTOR'S WIFE DOES CRY is a personal memoir about an abusive relationship. The book is written in a conversational tone with multiple ideas pulsing throughout. The story is somewhat fragmented and disjointed leaving one to wonder about the development of the story. However, the coping mechanisms and descriptions on how she strengthened her relationship with God are definitely worth the read.

Format: Paperback
Bea asked God for a church home and a husband, and that he be saved and willing to discuss scriptures with her. She also asked that the Lord show her 'her' husband. One year later her dreams revealed a preacher from her church, and that preacher it seems, had the same revelation.

Bea's life was not what she prayed for, all she wanted was a saved man; she did not want to be a 'First Lady'. But six short months after their marriage, her husband became the pastor. Over the course of nine years Bea learned to smile at church even when her husband was Jekyll at church and Hyde at home, even when the sisters loved her husband and hated her. She learned to leave her marriage at home and eventually she learned to be physically present, but to leave herself at home.

She shares how her husband's 'busyness' set the stage for mistreatment and disrespect, by him and his congregation. She talks about the facade surrounding her position, and her anger towards God. But Bea never lost faith, she gave God the reins and He gave her the strength to take readers on an excursion into her personal life. Lady Bea hopes when readers finish this book, they will love their First Lady more and they will remember that the pastor's wife does cry. Included are scriptures to support the teachings Lady Bea shares.

This book had some some and bad points. I understand that you are to fast and pray for your husband, but to simply allow him to demean you at ever turn is your fault. God didn't put you here for your mate to walk over you which is what she allowed him to do. Sometime you need to pray and fast for yourself! At some point and time Pastor should have realized his error, but as long as First Lady was allowing him to be the "devil son" then he felt it was all good. Even though our husbands are Pastors we still must carry ourselves as Christ
